A neat and tidy appearance sets an attitude of attentiveness and respect. Teachers must be able to see the dancer’s body outline clearly in order to make proper corrections on posture, alignment, etc. If a student does not follow proper dress code they will receive a warning. If the student continues to break dress code, the instructor has the right to ask the student to sit out of class.

• Hair must be properly secured and tied up away from the neck and face.

• Jewelry must not be loose or dangling

• No street clothes

• No costumes unless it is a spirit day announced by Fusion

BALLET & POINTE | Black leotard, nude tights, optional skirt or shorts, nude ballet shoes

TAP | Black fitted top or leotard , black fitted legging or short, black tap shoes

HIP HOP | NON-fitted black top and pants, clean sneakers (no shorts or outside shoes)

JAZZ, THEATRE & POM | Black fitted top or leotard , black fitted legging or short, nude jazz shoes

TUMBLE, LYRICAL, MODERN & CONTEMPORARY | Black fitted top or leotard , black fitted legging or short, no shoes

MALE STUDENTS | Black fitted top and black fitted shorts or leggings

Little ones should wear a leotard (any color), flesh tone ballet tights, and ballet slippers. Many kiddos wear a tutu but this is not required.
